So I just moved to Ottawa (again, this is my third time actually living in town) so I've been a little busy with other stuff, packing, unpacking and the like. But I'm pretty much set up now, so off to drawing and such until I start my new job on the 5th!

But I found this old sketch of a hockey goon, and thought I would post it in honour of the playoffs, go Penguins go!!!

really, if I could have any superpower, it would be flight. To soar effortlessly would be superb.

So the last three posts of art pieces were all done on Masonite with acrylic, including a small touch of metal leaf on raven and owl 13. These were all done for a collaborative art gala I was involved in with several other artists from the Ottawa area last fall.

So to start off, I decided to post my drawing for my own, very first tattoo. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and even got the tattoo completly in orange ink. And yes the bug has hit me, I'm already planning for my second.

EDIT: decided I should also add a picture of the finished tattoo......so I did!
