well its been awhile since I've posted on this site. Got married, bought a house, all that fun stuff of life.

Well TODAY I will be at ArtCrawl in Hamilton at H. Williams Jewellery.

A year gone by.....

So it has been one crazy year for me. I've gotten married, bought a house, stayed in the hospital for a week and it all comes back to Supercrawl. Yes, it has been a full year for myself. Both ups and downs, luckily the ups out numbered the downs.

Lets hope this starts a new round of posting.

To start I'm going to be doing some live art in front of H. Williams Jewellery this year in Hamilton at Supercrawl on Saturday.

I'm so lost... and I live just around the corner

Added the 6 paintings from Series 1 of "I'm so lost... and I live just around the corner: Hamilton" my current show at the Sky Dragon in Hamilton, to the Gallery section.

The artwork is on display at the Sky Dragon until August 12. So if you happen to be in town go check it out.

The blog is going under some construction right now in prep for my show in July. More info to come. Stick around and see the changes.

Update: Both the "About the Artist" and "The Gallery" pages are new and limited. Slowly a greater range of art will be posted and additional information.

Custom Molar & Skeletor

Another Christmas gift. These were made from old He-Man figures. I created my own Mo-Larr Eternia Dentist. My father is a big robot chicken fan and this was my gift to him this year.

As a gift for my mom this christmas I painted a nutcracker as Jack Frost.

January Mayday Cover

I was asked to create another Mayday cover.

The January issue came out on Friday and here it is, again without the titles.
This cover is a mix of paint, pencil, ink and some computer colouring.

new year back online

Its a new year and I'm back. It has been almost a full year since my last post. I realized I've become lazy and haven't even scanned or taken pictures of art and art related things I've been working on. Not having the internet lately has made it a bit harder.

So a new year, and I'm going to start again. My realization began with a Mayday cover I completed for the December issue. Mayday is a free magazine available in Hamilton Ontario.

This issue was vocusing on voices and views that Mayday thought they had overlooked in the previous issue. Here is the cover without the title and article headings.

Germ Fighters

A couple of kid germ fighters for the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology.

A wonderful museum in Hamilton. So if you are in town I suggest you go check it out.

Another shirt I completed recently.
A little 3 panel comic strip I created that I find funny.

This was a gift for an expecting couple. Obviously, I think they have a fondness for Volvo's.

These stickers were also at the show.... all 20 creations from the Monster Creature series I did last year in one bag.

cardboard robot

So another art gala has come and gone. My favorite piece this year was a cardboard robot I made. Plus you can pose him! That is right, the arms and neck move.
I liked it so much, I'm making them for $20. My hope is that they follow the same idea as the munny. With people buying them and drawing, painting, doing whatever they want to them to create their own original cardboard robot.

Soon I'm going to make a few more, and deck them out my self.
